About Green Garden Health Food

As the Bronx’s oldest juice bar, we’re proud to say that we’ve been providing our loyal customers with powerful nutritional benefits long before juicing, supplements, and the natural lifestyle in general became the massive trends they are today.

Since we first opened our doors in 1983 as Brother Roy’s Green Garden Health Food Store, our focus has always been on recipes and products that pay homage to the original West Indian juice bar concept.

We are the “working man’s health food store,” expect to see some of our regulars (and even a few famous faces!) sipping juices and chatting in our cafe on their lunch breaks. Feel free to join the conversation and ask for any advice you need.

This is the best place ever to help you maintain your health and heal any ailment! I’ve been going here since 1990’s and knew the actual founders (mom and dad) with their beautiful spirit and glowing skin! Now their offspring have kept and maintained a beautiful place (upgraded from a smaller shop across the street) and are so knowledgeable and caring! You have to try for yourself it’s top of the line! Kudos to family love and care of your well being. Love and Respect Always, A true devoted & loyal customer! Dawnnmarie Bilal

I love this place . The smoothie are the best. But the customer service is always on point. When I walk in I feel like I’m home. I buy a smoothie at least once a week.

I've been a customer for many years as the establishment grew and transitioned from father to son. The staff is well versed in mixing tasty, nutritional juices with a large variety of fruit, protein and my favorite, the sea moss. They truly cater to health and wellness with shelves stocked with vitamins, minerals and tonics as well as some food items. And the fresh baked cakes and patties are delicious.
